The Hives In a state of extreme sleep deprivation, i accompanied Veronica to see the Hives play at the Warfield. I liked their sound better than when i saw them in Boston at the Roxy ... new songs "Two Timing Touch and Broken Bones" and "Walk Idiot Walk" were particularly tight and full of vitality, but again their shameless self-promotion put me off. The singer might as well be screaming "Love me! WORSHIP ME!". Didn't matter much though because thanks to our balcony seats, i was half asleep for most of the show.
