Goodbye Facebook. Goodbye Instagram. Hello again fac13.net. It took me quite a while just to figure out how to log in to my old cyberhome. I had to refresh my memory in the basics of SSH, CGI, and MySQL, if only just to extract my password from the user list and to reassure myself that my now decade-old code was still functional. But it seems to be (we'll find out when i click "post" in a few minutes), so here i am. There's so much that has changed about me since 2010, and so much that has changed about the world. It's almost like a time capsule experiment just writing this and trying to pick up the narrative from my last post ... we're all quarantined at home! We have to wear masks whenever we go outside! Donald @$#ing TRUMP is our president/dictator! I'm hoping to return to this to do some therapeutic writing over the coming weeks and months. I can't abide by the flurry of bullshit on more popular social media outlets these days, so fac13.net is coming back to life. Feel free to read (and comment, if you can remember your password), but i'm just happy to once again turn thoughts into words.
