soon to be an album of the ~week 5:51pm 8/20/2004

i would never wish this much on you
when what you have might be enough
i would never want to drive that fast
unless you're ready, willing, happy

i would never want to take you with me
until you're open and grab my hand
i would never wish this much on you
until you like to live that fast

i would never want to do that to you
to take you far and leave you stranded
i have never gone quite far enough
but you can get off whenever you like

Ted - i was planning on going to the Inland Invasion & thought maybe we could meet up and hang out for a while?

Dear Damien:

As an avid follower of your football career, I would strongly advise against attending Inland Invasion. With your shoulder still recovering from the injuries of last season, rest should be your first priority. Chelsea and Ireland need you at the height of your footballing powers. While the band lineup of Inland Invasion is certainly intriguing, the headaches of mismanaged parking, overcrowding, and poor access to food and drink make it not worth the trouble. While I would be thrilled to meet you, we can certainly find more entertaining and less stressful environments than the spectacle of Inland Invasion.

Ted

P.S. Please don't join Manchester United.

Dude, Tears for Fears are playing - how could i miss that!?

My shoulder is coming along fine - and they say music is a great healer....

Good points on the parking and, crowding and food aspects though. I checked into it, and decided to get a seat ticket to limit the effects of over-crowding. I've also found premium parking facilities are available at a small cost - which can be divided up with fellow car-poolers. And i plan on taking some food/drink for a small chummy picnic with friends (perhaps you?) outside the concert just before it starts, thus limiting that problem.

I don't know about Man Utd. I quite fancy playing with Ronaldo....i'll tell you what.....I'll stay with Chelsea if you come to the Inland Invasion - i can't say fairer then that can I?

DD
